I love this place and favorite one. Right now the water is pushed to one side while other side is getting cleaned. I can’t wait when the lake or pond is fully done with all the birds are flaying over. I love the sunsets here. Oh my I said more about Thai place then any other. 🥰

Great trail to bike and walk with friends and family. Love that there are benches for you to make pit stops. This park has a great layout from the shelters, the dog park and golf course near by. Cleanliness of the park is great!

Take our dogs here daily before work. Usually at 530 am, however, November or winter hours make it tough since park closed till 7am.

For a small park, Heritage Park packs a big punch. We kayak here and the boat ramp is small, but that’s not usually a problem because it’s not typically crowded. Some of the lake is very shallow, but that makes for great wildlife watching. Turtles and herons are always fun to spot. If you’re not on the water, there is still a lot to do at the park. The trail around the lake is nice and there are benches around it if you need a break. The playground is nice and there’s a new workout area. There are a good number of picnic tables around. Some are a little weathered, but serve their purpose. There are also ample shade trees for a blanket picnic. Bikes are available for rent through the Johnson County Parks Dept. There are also several charging stations for electric cars. The restrooms are basic, but clean. Much nicer than some at other JoCo parks.

Bummed they are currently drudging the lake and took out the island and silo. Still fun for kids and a great park for walking a dog, lots of fields and plenty of playgrounds. Lots of shelters to rent for parties and golf and various sport fields.
