Another veterans park but this time in Alabaster, I was always so used to the one in Hoover, AL. (one next to Spain Park High School and Jeff State) but this one is closer so it makes it more convenient. Not sure why they call it Veterans Park, maybe to honor veterans or the people who were behind the idea of the park were veterans. Amenities: Plenty to work with bathrooms, tennis court, playgrounds, trails to walk, run, ride on. There are also pavilions you can rent for any birthday parties or events you may wish you want to have. Miscellaneous: Honestly, the sign that you see when you first enter the park is pretty goofy 😂 with the sun and all that. ☀️ They also have a massive field where you could play soccer but I only see people when it's the evening, a bit cooler in the day, might come visit again when it is around Fall! 🍂

This was the first time I went with my wife and dog to this park. It was very spacious and well maintained. It had many things to do for a family. There was a playground, pickle ball courts, and Frisbee golf. Areas for picnics and pavilions that could be rented as well!

This park has everything you are looking for whether it is to walk around or jog. Taking your dog out for a fun day or even playing a sport whether it’s Soccer, Baseball, or just having fun on the playground. You can come and get really nice prom picture or look at the nice views and relax. This place does have a small and large dog play area. Sometimes they do movie nights which you will have to bring your own bug spray, blankets, and chairs. They have turf and grass fields for soccer. They have a kids and small toddlers playground. They also have fountains for you and your dogs and restrooms. They also have pavilions and they can be rented out. This is really the perfect park!

Beautiful facility and the pickleball courts are very well lit. Only wish that they had some kind of a wall where you could practice if you're alone but other than that a great experience. A lot of stuff to do here including soccer, baseball, dog walking etc. Great trails for hiking as well. A+ and is less than a mile of my house so I love it!

This is a really nice park! Recommend by a coworker who dug the ponds, while working for the city. There’s enough room at this park to do whatever. Well maintained pavilions for picnicking, disc golf, a really nice dog park, ball fields, a cellphone charging station, clean restrooms, nice kept playground area and adequate parking. I visited just this last Sunday to fly a new kite. What a perfect day and wide open fields. I highly recommend this park. Although there’s no fishing. It’s a really relaxing park. Hope to see u there.
