Awesome little course. Always play here when driving through Alabama.

Went with my son and we had an incredible time. They have done a great job.

Very Rocky so if you can switch from cart to bag on short notice do it. Watch your footing you could snap an ankle here. Overall very challenging which I love. The flying dragon thorn bushes are deadly which it’s known for. If you land under one good luck. If you go off the fairway in the back nine you’ll lose strokes. Some hanging baskets and an awesome putting green with two baskets roughly a hundred feet apart on golf green grass like putting green stuff literally like carpet when you walk on it. Well designed and tougher than most in the area.

This course was a blast. I'm new to disc golf this year and it was pretty difficult but super fun. The trees keep you focused on getting good throws tether than power throws. The terrain and environment is just so cool. What your step though, you really could twist an ankle.

Happy to have a disc golf course in Decatur. My favorite course is always going to be RSA. This does not have the manicured fairways of Redstone, but it is fun enough. Be sure to bring a course map.. The start of the next hole may be 20 feet from the pin, but you won't find it because of the brush / foliage. The tree density is about like Monte Sano, but the yardage is on the short side so it isn't too frustrating. Unfortunately, some people choose to leave their beer cans and rubbish behind, which detracts from the overall experience.
