I moved out to the Pelham area sometime back in May! I just got a chance to visit the Pelham City Park on last week and I must say very nice, safe and well maintained. Nice little hidden creek running along side the walking trial!! I'll definitely be going back for a quick evening run! 🏃

Pelham city park has nice ball fields but the layout of the park is bad the parking lot on each side of the four ball fields is a long walk for older people to the entrance gate and the batting cages are on the far end away from two of the ball fields. The concession stand was nice and the bathrooms were nice with air conditioning. But this park has absolutely not one bit of shade for the families of the baseball players.

The playground is great. It has a preschool area and an older child area. It is fenced in. There is no shade so middle of the day in hot weather it isn't the best option. But overall it is a nice playground.

While waiting for Hurricane Milton to pass through Florida, we stayed three (3) nights in the Hoover, Alabama area and came across this park when we ventured away from our hotel. Great place to have a picnic under cover in the shelter house, which overlooks a basketball court, a sand pit volleyball court, and not far from a playground area. We lan to come back to enjoy their paved walking trail!

Great walking trail, splash pad, kids play areas, dog walking, dog park, volleyball courts, basketball courts, library and rec center. Water bottle refill stations. Fun place to spend the day. City schedules activities and fun events with food trucks.
