Cool place to hike and walk around ( even when it's over 100 degrees F) lol. Jack rabbits and quails are everywhere. Snakes??? I purposely frequent this place yet I've seen none. Not a single one.

This has a great little park attached to it! It's perfect for smaller kids, because it has a small playground and a large one. It does have bathrooms and a covered picnic table area. The Disc Golf Course backs up to the mountain, I've heard good things but never actually played. We just come for the park!

My friend Jake invited me to join him for an outing at Buffalo Ridge. 27 holes thru the desert scruff kept us entertained as we listened carefully to the cries of a few lost disks. Many chances for a good throw to land wrong and get legs but really that is part of the fun. Set aside a lot of time if you are going to play the whole thing. We had to bail at 22. Don’t forget the sunscreen and hat.
