This park has a nice lake where you can fish for trouts, catfish, bass, and other fishes. License required or they will sell 1 day pass for $12. They sell fishing accessories too! Large camping areas with running water and BBQ racks. Boyscout Troop 710 enjoyed one night camping here!

Utter disappointment. This is the third San Bernardino campground we've stayed at in recent weeks. Despite this being the largest facility in the SB County system, with the most staff of any of their parks, the maintenance here is the worst. Bathrooms are filthy, toilets leaking sewage from the base, everything is covered in graffiti, mold growing everywhere, even the sinks were not cleaned and covered in mildew. Some toilets don't flush. Bathrooms are open-air, they have a roof but only two and a half walls. Showers are $1 for five minutes but were disgusting. The 'laundry' is two washers and two dryers outside the rec center. And I mean outside. They were rusted and filthy and unusable, we had to drive 20 minutes to find a laundromat. And if it is raining there is no way you can do any laundry. The table where they expect you to fold your laundry is outside and filthy. The county apparently has no budget for cleaning or maintenance. On Friday and Saturday evenings we saw an unarmed security guard patrolling the park, useless. The staff drive through the park to check to see if people have checked out but do not clean up the campsites, just drive through on their cards. The park has a marina with food court and a splash and play park, but all are closed for construction. There are 50 RV sites and another 25 tent only sites. Weekends are bad here, noisy. Drunks riding bikes. People with their blaring mariachi and thumping gang music. Could not imagine how horrible it is here on holidays or in the summer. There are horse trails here. No hiking but you can walk around the lake in about 90 minutes. Gate code for after hours access. Park is very unsafe, no police presence or enforcement rangers. There is a lot of window glass in the day use parking, evidence of vehicle break ins. They have some RV's here that they rent out like cabins. They remove the propane tanks when not rented, suggesting they have theft problems. There is no camp host. Also their reservation email says that if I show my ID at the gate during check in that they will refund me $5.00 per day (excluding weekends) as a veteran discount. As of the posting of my review a week later I still have not received a refund.

A really great spot that needs to invest in some recuperation of the facilities! Come here for the day, or stay overnight. There is a 60-acre lake for fishing, lots of campgrounds and large green areas with tree coverage! š° Entry $8-10/ vehicle š š $1 per dog š£ $10-12 with license š $40-50 per day (up to 6 people) š° $125+ Picnic Areas The campgrounds are available with hookups for RVs or prepped for tent camping with amenities. The area is definitely spacious and has a fire pit to get the full camp-feel. š« Playground is mostly blocked off and needing refurbishment. The swingset had two special needs swing, two infant swings and a few large swings but were also blocked off. There are two large units with many slides and obstacles but what was not blocked off by gates was needing upgrades. We were very excited to see a Spashpad Waterpark however that too was mostly not working and had much calcification corroding the metal. There were many scattered benches with various sizes and types of covering that makes for great parks days, picnics and family time outdoors. I recommend you bring a kite! Definitely has potential and will look forward to seeing improvements! UPDATE: As of the end of 2024 major construction changes seem to be happening... stay tuned for the next update!

Camped there for two nights. There is no soap in the restrooms and peeling paint in the shower. High winds caused the power to go out, but the park did offer a refund for campers that wanted to leave. We took advantage of the offer and left a day early. Nice grounds and quiet just needs some upkeep in the showers.

Absolutely beautiful to experience nature here, very relaxing! Worth the entry fee, no doubt. We will definitely return!
