Had our club tournament here in October 2024… nice course having much fun playing in this golf course. Amenities are good, we had fellowships at the bar and enjoyed a lot.

It used to be good but lately it's been nothing but 6 hour rounds (even on weekdays) and poor conditions. we joke that the greens are like putting on the moon. fairways are full of divots and dead areas. there's no marshal either. oh, and for you drinkers, there's no beer cart so you have to either bring your own or load up at the turn.

Play was a bit slow as our tee time was 8:24 am, but we actually teed off around 8:45 am. Some of the fairways were patchy and the greens weresoft and a bit slow. This is a good thing as the contours and pin placements would have made for some really difficult 2nd putts. This is a fun course layout that gets harder as you go.

The course was well maintained, super fast greens maybe a 12 on the stimpmeter, pace of play is very slow but golf isn't a game to be rushed. Everyone was very nice staff and pro shop. Menu prices are a little steep but that's par for the course. Wish I hit the ball a little better but that's golf ⛳

Worst experience golfing in quite a while today at Los Amigos. Course was in its usual ok condition, so not too much to expect there. But pace of play was horrible. First, tee time was 20 minutes late. Oh, they added a solo 5th to our group. I put up a minor protest, but it wouldn't have helped anyway. The fellow was nice enough. Problem today was that about 2/3 of the groups on the course today were fivesomes. And, most of them were elderly walkers. First, you can't book a fivesome, so how were there so many groups? And tee times are scheduled 2 every 15 minutes. Pretty dense. Then...walking????? If you're going to allow someone (once in a while) to squeeze a fifth, they should be forced to pay for and take an electric cart. No marshall on the course to try to keep things moving. Wouldn't have helped anyway. Round ended up taking 5 hrs, 45 minutes. I don't know any other course that allows this kind of slow play. Really frustrating.
