Nice recreation center with plenty to do to support an active lifestyle. Pickle ball courts, tennis courts, basketball courts, and skatepark that doubles as a fun bike park for younger kiddos. There’s a pretty lake that people and pets can walk around but beware of goose droppings that you must dodge if you care about the treads of your shoes. A nice community center has bathrooms and classes for all ages.

Recently reserved (paid) for a table and drinking license at one of their designated spots. I did a ton of research about what foster city had available and finally settled on a location. I researched and paid well in advance (2-3 months). Then day of my event comes and another party had setup their things at the spot I had already paid for. I felt bad telling them to move, but I paid $230 for a specific reason. The other party didn't respond very kindly (understandable). I tried to call the recreation center and they said figure it out on your own or call the cops. Eventually the other party moved, but all of that conflict and wasted energy setting-up could have been avoided. Honestly, for that much money, the parks & recreation department could at least have either a sign or an employee there saying "this location is reserved". This stressed out 2 parties, not just 1.
