Was not expecting much, but certainly Fremont Park is worse than I was imagineering. While I like the design somehow, the condition is not good, one thing is that greens are somehow playablely challenging, I'll give them this. Another thing is that the Par 4 holes here are designed with not-able-to-see-greens, so even they're short, but will require a nice lay up tee shot skill. There's even construction 🚧 undergoing in Hole 7 fairway, Even you can see no-grass area all over the fairway from GPS 😂

Only went to the driving range. Mats were pretty well used, range balls were in good condition and priced well. Place was clean and does get busy and busy with people who tend to talk a lot at the mats. The range was dry as a bone and hard to follow the ball because of it. Putting greens were in good state with the exception of a few bad spots. Parking is limited. Staff was polite and efficient.

Great family day at the driving range. Beautiful scenery, nice putting green, and nice chipping area. Very friendly staff at the snack bar/restaurant. I recommend this place to all golfers!

Here’s what you get at Fremont Park: -terrible service -abysmal conditions -deceptive policies -poor value The only thing it has going for it is that there is no wait to play on a weekend…because everyone knows to avoid this course already. I had never played here because $33 can get you a lot more if you play elsewhere. My friend and I wanted to play a round last minute and everywhere else was booked so we decided to try out Fremont Park. Found a tee time on GolfNow to save a few dollars. Upon checking in, we were told that anyone who books on GolfNow MUST pay for a cart. What if you like to walk? Nope, you’re paying for a cart. Even if you leave it behind and still walk, you will be forced to pay for a cart. It is obvious that the course forces this charge to act as a fee so they can collect more money from people who booked on GolfNow. It is actually more expensive to book on GolfNow and then pay a cart fee. This policy is not clearly stated on GolfNow nor Fremont Park’s website. After dealing with that money grab, the manager came outside to tell us we only paid for 9 holes and must stop golfing after 9 holes. Uhm, duh? I’m guessing he had some misconception that if you book on GolfNow you are a poor thief who needs to be reminded of such things. Keep in mind he did not issue this reminder to anyone else before, after, or around us. We played our round and the course was in terrible shape. Patchy, rough, greens with weeds. Signs that were so old that only the advertisements were legible. Muddy cart paths. Lopsided and grass-less tee boxes. I wish this were not the case. We need more golf courses in the Bay Area. But if Fremont Park continues to operate like this, it is pretty obvious that it is not sustainable and they will go out of business. My least favorite course to date and I’ve have played about 300+ rounds in the past 4 years.

This place does pretty good as a municipal golf course. Easy to get tee times and the driving range is nice. Price isn't bad, the 9 hole can be more challenging than others since there is a lot of water hazards.
