Fun little par 3 course. Staff are friendly and course is pretty.

This is a GEM of an executive style, all par-3 golf course. It will steal your heart as it has mine since I was but a wee lad, but I am more than happy to have left it in the hands of such a deserving destination. The beautiful layout/design requires just enough skill to score well and to hold the interest of experienced players but it certainly isn't overwhelming or intimidating for the novice or even 1st time golfer, with the exception of hole number seven, which requires a 100 + yard carry over a large pond. For such a highly trafficked and well loved course, the condition is good. The only area of concern is that the greens are a bit on the bumpy side of the "bump-o-meter" spectrum, but this is more a reflection on the golfers' casual or even innocently ignorant attitude towards fixing ball marks than it is a actual course maintenance problem. For that reason I cannot deduct a star for this review... all said, my 5 star review is meant to give confidence that you won't be disappointed in the cost/quality ratio, and btw, the green fees are very reasonable. I am 57 and didn't quite meet the senior rate requirements, but it still only cost me an $18 greens fee for the twilight rate. Do yourself and any of your golfer friends a favor by making plans to play here the 1st opportunity you get to visit the Central Coast area of California. Happy golfing trails! 😎

Very nice golf course wedding venue. Yes, I wasn’t there to play golf but to attend the wedding. So, I can’t talk about golfing experience there, but the tent they let us use for the reception was great! Plenty of space for all the guests. We had a outdoor wedding, which I suspect is most of the cases, and it was just perfect. The beach is quite close, and the venue let the bride and groom to use the gold carts to travel to and from the beach for the mini photo session at the beach before the ceremony. It isn’t a huge problem but their restroom in the club house is small (one person at a time), so they had two (men and women) porta potties outside the tent, but for the amount of guests there were it took a while for people to use it. Other than that, it’s a pretty good venue for events like that. Parking isn’t the biggest one I’ve seen, but it wasn’t nearly full, and I saw quite a few people parked along the street by the tent for easy access.

So I’ve been here few times very nice place to play at, by the beach sunny very nice but it’s been a few times that the guy Greg has given me and my buddy controversy about rules about the course, we showed up the first time here and he just started giving us attitude for not apparent reason, me and my friend are both 20 so maybe he thought we were here to mess around but we’re not, and today we wanted to rent a cart but he specifically asked for my personal car insurance, never have been asked for car insurance since I started playing, this was the first time, so at this point we’re thinking he’s just bias about us, I asked a another group that was already done and I asked if they provided insurance and they said no so after that we assumed that it was something worse but that’s been our experience, and as we speak he’s following us as we play

Great place to golf daily with my sons before the wives get out of bed while on vacation. Quick in, quick out and nothing fancy. No tee time needed. Really nice staff and ran into some regular locals there who were just very nice.
