Played today. Course is in so-so shape. Fairways are bare in spots and the grass thin on most fairways. Water hazards are all drained out which looks horrible aesthetically, but was ok 'cause we just hit out of 'em. Lots of gopher holes, which is annoying. Greens are exceptional though - fast and soft. What sucked was the way I was grouped. I booked as a single and was paired with a threesome who were obviously regulars who didn't hide their disappointment being paired with me - an outsider. Five minutes before our tee off, they found a friend to fill their foursome so they kicked me out and paired me with a single, to play behind them as a twosome. They were slow but it was fun to troll them and push 'em along just to get on their nerves and watch them hustle off the greens as we stood in the fairways waiting. I hit into them on purpose on one short par 4 which got 'em hustling even more. I hate being rushed when I play so hopefully it came back to bite 'em. The single I played with, however, was great company and I enjoyed my round, but it was rude for that group to kick me out and the starter just to stand by not doing anything about it.

Played with my grandson 9/1 while I'm here visiting family. Very pleasant staff-check in, starter and grille. Nice layout, interesting mix of holes. Hard, fast fairways (probably tough to grow and keep grass in 100 degrees and water restrictions), slow but true greens, unplayable dirt bunkers. The gps is invaluable. I appreciated the different scenery than I see on South Carolina.

Course needs a little care. But golfers also need to help by fixing their divots. Overall, it was great for the price.

Inexpensive golf course. Pace is good. If you want to work on your swings, this course can give you many different looks. Greens are the best part of the golf course.
- Cool So Cool
Decent last minute golf course. Not the greatest of shape but it’s fun.
