A piece of home in the middle if the desert. Always 10 to 20 degrees cooler than 29 palms. Beautiful breeze as if you're at the ocean. There's a creek with ducks and geese and plenty of tree cover. Great play area and we've never had any issues there. We've used the grills and walked around the fishing lake. I just wish we could camp on the grassy part, I'd love it! WORTH THE DRIVE. OH- and the porta johns are well-maintained. The handicap one in the back parking lot is always prestige, which says a lot!

Absolutely the worst night I’ve ever spent in a camp ground. Fire pits had trash in them also camp spot had trash around it. Says no OHV vehicles but there was. Quiet time starts at 10:00 loud music played until 1:00 am. Tried calling to complain no answer they said they have park rangers didn’t see one. Not even worth the $40.00 per night. But I guess what do you expect for $40.00. Will not go back to this place.

This is a municipal park and campground. We were staying down the road at another awful campground and came here to walk our dog around the lake. It was a Friday morning at 10am but there were hundreds of men sitting around the lake fishing instead of working. There was even a City of Azusa Street Division employee in uniform fishing. Place reeks of cigarettes and alcohol. There is a green shaded park with an artificial stream running thru it, complete with picnic tables and a playground. Behind the lake is more parking, an equestrian area, and a large grass field for youth sports. Trash everywhere, mostly beer cans and cigarette butts. The campground itself is just a dirt lot with concrete wheel stops on both sides to designate where to park. No privacy. There are a mix of sites including tent, electric only and electric/water. No sewer hookups or dump station. The office and camp store are in the parking lot of the park next to the campground. There is NO sign on the building telling you that it is a store or campground office. When you walk up to the building there is a sign that says you can park there to register. When you walk around the building you see a glass door with a paper sign that says no more than 5 people in store at one time. When we were there there was just one camper and the camp host, the rest of the sites were empty. Place is very unsafe, no police presence or enforcement rangers. Given the people who hang out here I would not want to stay here.

Would easily be 5 stars if they cleaned more than once a week. We camped for a couple of nights while visiting my brother. First night the bathrooms were disgusting (Thursday) but on Friday they cleaned and it was much nicer. Perhaps they should clean on Monday too.
