Attended a private rental birthday party at the park and pool. The pool is smaller than other public pools in the area but that was fine because they had the area to themselves. If it had been open to the public it would have been a madhouse. There’s only a little shade at the pool. However. The well-established trees provide shade in other areas of the park that have sturdy tables and benches perfect for picnicking.

Unfortunately the dog park grass has numerous holes to break an ankle in, but the main problem is that it attracts homeless people and drug interactions. One good thing is that I notified the city there was a wasp nest, and they did come out and eradicate it.

I've seen growth since 1968 . Lime Street Park was once green grass and wooden tables. Now there is so much more. Green grass meant cool and water we were blessed now it's heaven ....

Pleasantly surprised by what this park has to offer the community. Plenty of picnic areas, benches, shade, play ground, tennis court, skate park, basket ball courts, dog park, pool. Best of all it was clean !

I enjoyed the pools, however my autistic son was denied accommodations if the use of a life jacket which prompted his independence in the pool in which if you know most autistic children love water so for my son to be denied use the d something to do what he enjoys put a damper on the day . I was told about the day they have for disabled people and they could use their life saving devices at that time...what happened to inclusiveness? As a result the life guard has to jump in to get my son out of the water.so that's why I gave a one star .. who came up with the policy? An able bodied and able minded individual no doubt
