Update: I’ve changed this to 5 stars. New manager has the pond and grounds looking beautiful!! What a difference a great manager makes in running a place!! Update: Thanks to the Mayor of Lake Forest, the ponds are looking much, much better. Even vector control came out to make sure there were not any mosquitos in all the algae that was there. There have boats in the ponds a couple of times blowing the algae to the sides and someone on the shore is spraying. Geese and enjoying bathing and swimming again! All the efforts are working and again, thank you Mayor Doug Cirbo of Lake Forest. I'm giving it 3.5 stars. The course itself is fine, but look at the pictures. Every year they let the ponds get full of algae. One golfer today walked by and said "That's nasty." It happens every year. And they do nothing unless pushed. This is hole 5, but the pond at 3 is also looking bad.

This course is a Gem. It's a great course. I've been going to the course since 2008 and. Been a member for 3+ years and the price for what you get is great. James is a great guy. I have great conversations with him every Saturday morning. The grounds keepers do their job right. The environment is awesome even though your in between the street and apartments. None the less, try the course out. If you don't like it, I didn't tell the truth. On a lighter note. I got a hole in one on a on a 70 yrd par 3 on hole six. Enjoy I know you will. The membership is the way to go.

eh course. for twenty bucks i guess its whatever but very small un maintained course with crammed games and the employees were not nice and not welcoming made it difficult checking in for a tee time we made online and then stoped and asked to show proof that we paid to be playing kinda annoying as its a packed ghetto looking golf course. Overall not a great experience.

The center is at the end of cherry and the railroad. Their parking lot is always close to being full. There is no food to purchase, and stay in line if you're planing to go there in the evening.
