So pretty and peaceful, but doesn't feel very safe for a female by herself or even a group of girls. But if you have someone to go with that makes you feel safe and can scare off lurking weirdos, then it's really pretty. Tons & tons of dragon flies in the summer

Great place, just could use a bathroom or two scattered around the park. I get that the homeless may end up making a mess of them.

I like the idea of this park, centrally located in the middle of Modesto; however, the city needs to do a better job of keeping up with trash the homeless leave. Also, general upkeep, trail beautification and maintenance could be better. The park has a lot significant number of cycling and walking trails, well used which is good. Additionally positive, I noted a group of young people picking up trash in one section of the park.

I love this park! It has a great disc golf course, great path and trails for bikes, walking, or running! My girl Ginger loves to come here! She says bring it Mom!

The park is beautiful during most of year, just choose a time for that works and simply go to nature. I would avoid, before 6am and after 9pm though the parks attendees can get unsavory. The rest of the time there is activity of various types; Disc golf, picnics, volleyball, bikes, basketball, and long trail walks. During the day MPD has bike patrols, from time to time, and make sure you leave nothing on your seats if you plan to be away for a while.
