I’ve been a patient of Dr. Mesiwala’s for about a year and I can tell you that each and every one of the medical staff team has been amazing and accommodating to my needs. Went to DISC Sports & Spine Center after experiencing severe pain in my lower back. After getting an MRI, Dr. Jain and his team did an outstanding job of taking care of me (removing a substantial disc herniation at L2/L3) and got me back on my feet in no time. DISC has been amazing every step of the journey. I am a recent recipients of a lumbar artificial disc replacement and am beyond grateful for being out of pain and back to normal. What was great about the journey was just that, there was no pressure to rush in to surgery, we analyzed and planned, tried pain management before even exploring the surgery route. Then I fully ruptured my disc while bike riding...my fault. Once my surgery was planned, the amount of prep from every point of interaction was extremely thorough. I knew what was going to happen from start all the way through recovery. The staff was attentive, friendly and all knew what they were doing and had answers to everything on the spot. The facility is like nothing I have seen before, clean and high-tech. And the surgeons there are the best of the best. Dr Shah was great to have on my side before, during, and after. I have told so many people about my experience...hopefully I never need another surgery, but if I ever do, I will be back at DISC.
