This course delivers a traditional and enjoyable golfing experience. It features scenic views, wide-open fairways, and a layout that is both challenging and accessible. The fairways and greens are well-kept, though some areas show a bit of wear. We were unable to rent a golf cart and had to walk with a push cart instead. Despite this, it remains a great value with a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.

Fun historic layout, can't beat the location. Little bit "pasture golf" in upkeep - grass is pretty much single cut. I was okay with it, keeps it simple, just not something you see very often. A bigger budget would go a long way for this course. SF parks should put some renovation funds into Sharp, a McKenzie muni. Not many carts available, but I believe that actually helps keep the course in much better shape overall, less wear and tear. Easy walk, get the full experience. Would be cool if they figured out a way to restore one of the original holes instead of hole 8, a short pitch shot par 3. 4 stars for fun, approachable, historic layout. Could easily be 4+ with more love. Actually more like 3.5 star today, but gave it extra credit for not trying to be something it isn't. Deserves more funding from SF parks, but with intent to improve while keeping simple and accessible.

I was totally amazed by how beautiful Sharp Park course is !!! (Not to mention the price you pay here, the value of the course is at least triple to the $$$ you pay). The Monterey Cypress on the sides of the fairways direct you to the greens nice and easily. The design is humbly good, nothing special but takes good afdvantage of the local mountain landscape. Like Back 9 better, you can start hearing and smelling the 🌊 ocean, and I like Hole 14 to 18 the most, particularly Hole 15 you tee off from the box that you can't see the green, as there's long and tall tully right in front of the tee box. Last but not the least, the beauty of Back 9 mainly resulted from the fog from the ocean, just elegantly magnificent!!!

A very cool track that was sneaky hard. The routing, trees, green complexes, and views were all outstanding and will make me want to come back. But man this course needs some TLC. It's been about 10 days since the last rain here and the course is still soaking with overgrown fairways which is a tough scene. No blame to the greenskeepers as they are just being dealt a tough hand with a course that doesn't drain but it was tough losing 3 balls in the fairway. Good news was the course was nice enough to give us a discount for the course conditioning and overall I had a really fun time. Will come back in the summer to see it bounce back.

Horrendous conditions even after two weeks with minimal rain. This course should not be open and is a complete ripoff in these swamp conditions. January 12, 2025. Lost multiple perfectly hit balls in the middle of the fairway as there were multiple places with 8 inches of rough because they can’t mow in these conditions. Never again will I play here in the winter. Total ripoff!
