Flat and straightforward public course at a convenient location. Quality of the grass on the fairway was acceptable, although a few beer bottle cans were observed. On a Thursday morning it was already very busy with 8am tee off time getting delayed by 10mins or so.

Really enjoyed my round at Brookside on a Sunday afternoon. Rental clubs were brand new set of Taylormade Qi10s. Greens were in great shape and fast. Playing beside the Rose Bowl and the San Gabriel mountains was a special treat. Pro Shop and clubhouse were very nice. Bring sunscreen and even an umbrella if you’re walking as the sun is really strong in the summer.

This is not a golf review! We attend an event here yearly, and I just had to say how nice the place is. I am very excited each and every year to come into the clubhouse and relax in the AC! It's always clean and staffed appropriately. Thanks, Brookside, for being such great hosts to our day of darkness! Cheers

This review is based off of an average amateur golfer. We were here for a tournament and unfortunately it was raining for half the holes, but as it got dryer and hotter, it became a solid golfing course. My first time here and I’ve heard about this spot from friends, it’s not too difficult but not too easy. I thought it was a good mix of par 3’s & 4’s. I just wish there was more cart services for food and beverages on the course, but still solid. Overall I thought it was an excellent course and the greens were well kept. There was also an awesome food/dining service area and a solid golf shop. I would definitely come back again, I highly recommend it and I can’t wait to try it on a full summer day.

I have been coming to Brookside for over 20 years. There are two courses to choose from, and each offers it's own unique level of difficulty. The golf carts have built in GPS showing you the layout of the hole, and distance to the pin. The cart's software prevents you from going onto the areas approaching the green (approximately 100 yards in). The grounds a well kept, and you definitely feel the serenity of the landscape while playing. There's a large driving range and two practice putting greens. Even just coming for a day of practice at the range is an experience. The pro shop has a lot of great options from gear, balls, and clothing. Lastly, the restaurant is A-Class for this being a public course. The food is great, and the staff here are always pleasant. Negatives: the golf cart will come to an immediate halt when coming close to the putting greens (so stay on the cart path), and the parking close to the course gets full quick unless you have a mega early tee time (be prepared to come an extra 5 minutes earlier to walk from the overflow lot). Driving range prices as of 2022: Sm, $7; Med, $12; Lg, $15.
