In these pandemic times this place is a true oasis. It's a perfect place to burn off steam after being locked up for so long. The staff is super friendly. Definitely a well kept park. It's unbelievable that we are right next to an urban jungle (Downtown San Diego). Mature trees and fresh cut lawns keep you cool in the heat. The cages are moved everyday so your game is always different. There is an honor system so if you lose your disc you'll probably get it back the next time you play. $6.00 is a true bargain for what can amount to hours of playtime. Come and visit, leave the place like you found it and be nice to each other.

I thought this was a really nice course. $5 on weekdays, $6 on weekend. BUT, I read a lot of claims that this is a "bucket list" course. As someone who takes trips to courses based on reviews, I think that's a bit overselling it. Coyote Point at Lake Casitas, I'd drive 2 hours to play that. The "outback" at Perry Championship in Visalia, and of course Sky High in Llano, these are bucket list courses. Not to be negative, but if anyone is thinking of driving several hours to play this, not sure it's worth it. But if your'e already in San Diego, 100% def check it out. I'm guessing the "bucket list" label is due to its history. It's one of the first courses in the world going back to 1978, credited as the first "pay to play" course. It's very well maintained by a disc community that loves the game and is considered "the busiest course in the world" (though kudos to their staggered start teams, it didn't feel crowded until the back 9 that got a little backed up.) But history aside, the course itself is fine, I'd say a few notches above average. If you want a REAL bucket list check this out: Pail Mop Excavator Tamper-Evident and of course Fried Chicken

It’s amazing, as long as you’re fine with watching your back a lot so other people’s discs don’t hit you.

Great course, nice landscaping and good views. Pretty challenging holes all around. Would definitely play again. Don’t forget to go to the website to set a tee time.
