Torrey offers a beautiful golfing experience. Book your tee time well in advance but it’s worth the green fee all things considered. What could they do better? Compared to other courses in SoCal, Torrey makes you pay (and pay big) for any extras. No water re-fills (often at similar green fee costs, free bottles come with the cart or they’ll at least fill your bottle - not the case here), a bag of chips and a Gatorade at the turn was $12, a hot dog was about $13. While it’s worth the visit for the views and course condition, don’t expect first class treatment.

An amazing course with amazing views. The north course was both beautiful and forgiving. The track was great, elevation changes on the back with down hill views over the cliffs for vistas that can't be beat. The rough was particularly punishing, but definitely a great time. Reason for 4 stars instead of 5. Driving range was mid, they also have a very weird green fees system where you have to pay for your green fees in one place but everything else at another counter, needlessly redundant. Bathroom facilities were also pretty cringey. They also didn't make the fact that the cart fee was separate from greens fees visible enough on their site when we booked so it felt like an extra fee.

If you haven’t played this course, you are missing out on an incredible opportunity! Everything the experience, Golfer looks for everything. The average Golfer would enjoy everything you want to improve your skill and everything you want to help you manage a course! I was impressed based on seeing it on television. I was enamored with awe and ecstasy as I played it for myself. It really doesn’t get much better than this! The part three with the elevator box and the sunken green is just breathtaking. You almost wanna play that twice!

Im so happy to be a local and can enjoy local rates BUT even for tourists, this course is a GEM. Full of challenge if you want. Played in fog, mist, and light rain on Christmas eve and still walked off in the dark with a smile on my face. So well manicured for the Farmers but I know they maintain lower rough AND the love throughout the year. Love me some Torrey. Not sure if it was just the fog but the main walkway in could use a power wash... been a while ;)

Played NORTH course 11 October 2024. The name speaks for itself. Of course it has great scenery and is well kept. Although I hate the fact that I caught it on a bad week with the fairways full of sand due to recent aeration, the course is still great. It felt like bunker shots even hitting from the fairways. The staff in the pro shop and restaurant was very friendly. The greens surprisingly rolled much slower than expected. The cart girl was around very frequently and saw her three times in one round. Definitely recommend this experience to all. Will be back to play the south course soon.
