Came to Dick’s today to get a wood bat for my kid. Drove all the way here specifically for that purpose. It’s fall ball baseball season and out of the hundreds of bats available, they had literally ONE 30” bat in their entire inventory and it had a big scratch down the side of it. 29” and 30” bats are by far the most common size for youth baseball, and to carry only one damaged bat in that size is ridiculous. This is exactly why people just shop online and these types of places eventually disappear. Just stock the most common size bats… It’s not that difficult.

I have done a lot of business at this location in Santa Maria and never had an issue. Everyone is friendly but after today and what they tried to pull I may have to question the integrity of this company. My wife purchased a brand new golf club and it was the wrong one. It was never used, had the wrapper on it and all stickers. Mind u it was purchased just a day ago and I went to return.l it the next day. I was told they could not take a return and do a refund and that I would have to trade it in. What!!!! Their own website says they will allow returns of golf clubs up to 30 days and that’s if they r slightly used. This was BRAND NEW. Anyways come to find out the associate said it’s managers discretion as to what they want to do and since the brand was not a good seller they didn’t really want the club at their store. Makes zero sense to me. It wasn’t until my frustration was showing that they decided to do a refund. Sounds shady to me and if I didn’t ask questions I’m sure they would have low balled me on a trade in lol. Be very wary of the return policy here and people just making things up.

What sporting store doesn't even have a dome tent, Dick's in Santa Maria. Plus everything in there is over priced.
