Play It Again Sports

We will not go back to this store. I went with my partner, we are not Americans, which is noticeable from our accent. We went in to sell a snowboard. Inside, there was a woman with her son, and they stared at us in an intimidating way without any reason. There were two staff members at the counter watching us, but they didn't say anything or help us. We were standing there with the snowboard (previously, my partner had asked if we could sell the board, they said yes, so we went to the car to get it; all of this happened when we came back in). We placed the board on the counter, but the staff didn’t assist us and started watching the baseball game that was playing on the TV. The woman kept staring at us in a hostile manner, while they ignored us. It was all very racist, and the treatment was terrible. When one of them finally decided to attend to us, he spoke very rudely and with no interest, saying that the board was too old and that they couldn't buy it. I’m not complaining about that—if the board is old, that’s fine—but their attitude and behavior were absolutely unacceptable in this day and age. I wouldn't wish such a poor experience with such unpleasant people on anyone. We went to another sports store, where we were treated wonderfully.

I went to this location despite living near another because of the selection I saw online. As an adult female, starting out in hockey, I am always extremely intimidated when I enter an (usually) all male store. I’ve had a bad experience at Hockey Monkey and a not so great one at Pure Hockey. James and his staff here at this location were great. They asked if I needed help and made sure I was doing ok but also left me alone. I didn’t feel pressured to buy but most importantly, I felt comfortable asking for help. I think the prices are fair too.I’ll be back! Shop local!

The customer service is amazing! You’ll find both new and used items. Prices are very reasonable. This is our first stop when finding more work out equipment and bikes. You’ll never feel pressured in buying anything but staff is there to always help answer an questions.

Brand new golfer went in store to look at iron set, gentlemen that helped me recommended a certain set because “they are more forgiving” for new players rather than a more expensive option. Looked online and confirmed what he said. Thanks play it again!
