Fantastic spot to watch the Blue Angels and flight operations. On base at Peterson, so you'll need base access. Small playground for the kiddos, disc golf, few other activities.

Base access required to visit. Right across from the Commissary and BX is a gem of park. A playground, picnic tables, covered pavilion with grills, benches, a walking path and the perfect spot to watch planes taking off and landing at Colorado Springs Airport. The really unique offering is a small mini golf/putt putt course, with putters and golf balls available at the main building.

This park has got a playground, volleyball court, picnic tables, and a 9-hole mini golf course. The office is closed on the weekends, so you have to bring your own balls and clubs if you want to play then. It is right across from the Exchange, though the entrance road can be a little hard to spot. Great view of Pikes Peak! It is also located near the start of runway 17L of the airport. Should be a decent spot to do some plane spotting.

Great place to take kids or go for a job around the park. There is a little mini golf course as well (bring your own golf balls and clubs).

Was interested in this place to do some plane spotting but was wondering is this place open to the public? Or is it only open for those who work on the base there in Co Springs?
