This is a mountain challenge that has a short pad that is not a beginner rated but likes from both! Bring water for this hike and you'll find elevation up down and across. There's a putting challenge course and some mini basket's! Definitely worth going back!

Yes this is a pay to play, but this is one of the best mountain courses in the state. We camp and play all over and this course is a gem! Thank you to the owner for his dedication to the sport. We played in the rain and still loved it. If your in the area it is well worth supporting the owners and their efforts! Besides that you will have an opportunity to play smart and keep it simple.

Potential. This course has a lot of it. I do not recommend this course. Maybe we just caught the course on a bad day but alas, I must document our experience. 9 of us set out to have a beautiful day of disc golf for a bachelor party weekend in Steamboat Springs July 13th. Our group was comprised with a mix of expert and novice players and the dirt parking lot (which is under construction) was well placed. We payed our $5/person into the pay station, which is nice and has great little maps of the course. Unfortunately that's where this course lost it's appeal. Knee, waist and even neck deep, tick laden scrub brush cover this course. 3 of the 9 guys in our group had multiple ticks on their legs/ankles after shooting hole #1 and walking up the hill. The course needs a lot of maintenance and brush clearing to keep it safe and fun for its participants. In addition the entire course is covered with thick brush, finding your disc especially on hole 2, which has a great amount of drop, was next to impossible even with a spotter. I would NOT recommend playing this course until the proper maintenance has been done which is going to be really tough. I hope whomever maintains this course the best of luck and I hope to return because the terrain is pretty sweet.

If you enjoy a mountain style course and a good hike this one does not disappoint! Be prepared to climb up and down some steep vertical and to spot each others drives, but there are maps at the base and signs at each tee detailing the distance and elevation changes. Make sure to donate at the parking area, it is privately owned and maintained and the property owner puts in a lot of effort to keep it playable.

Want an amazing disk gulf experience. Red tail is your course. Great hiking and scenic views. Unique holes for the adventurous golfer. The owners were so helpful in every way to make our experience fun. The price is so reasonable for the depth and breadth of this A+++ course.
