Super cool course, challenging shots, and fun elevation changes. Really nice owner who cares about the course. $10 to play. Can rent golf carts for $20. Has discs you can borrow and water stations throughout the course. Definitely check it out if you’re in the area!

Played here with my dad and brother last week (late May). Had a really great experience. I’m not a very experienced disc golfer, but this was a really really neat course to play. It’s only about 15 minutes up the road outside in the hills above Trinidad. None of the roads were rough, so you could definitely drive a car up there. The owner was very accommodating and explained the course to us before playing. We used electric golf carts to get around on the hiking path. The carts handled surprisingly well for the terrain. The course offers 3x 9-hole layouts and we played a total of 18holes. All the tee pads were nicely done and each hole had a quick reference map to guide you (if you couldn’t see the basket). There were plenty of challenging holes, but all were fun. SUPER cool layout. Had a great time and bought some merch too. He’s got really cool discs for sale and I bought a windbreaker for my wife. Really nice ppl, really nice course and cool merch. Try it, you won’t regret it 👏🏼

My running, hiking and disc golf buddies recently made our annual pilgrimage to Colorado, and we happened to stumble upon this incredible disc golf course. We absolutely loved it! Johnny and his lovely wife are wonderful hosts. Don't miss the opportunity to play here if you're ever in the area!

Had an amazing weekend at Twisted Cedars Disc Golf Course. Johnny has put so much thought and work into this course and it shows. It has such a great layout and will challenge you on a lot of different types of shots. Looking forward to trying it next time with the Baskets in the shorter positions. The Golf Carts are definitely worth renting with a clear path through the whole course. If you're staying the weekend, it'd be good to be prepared with mosquito repellents (candles, nets spray, garlic and whatever else you can think of) and you'll be okay. Also make sure you're playing with good shoes that'll protect your feet from the occasional cactus if your disc gets off course.

Best disc golf course I have ever played. Definitely challenging and forgiving at the same time. Gentleman that runs the course has A+ customer service! Has a pro shop and he can even customize your discs! Very wooded and beautiful views! Will definitely play again!
