Awesome disc golf course. 18 baskets that weave through the forest and halfway through you will pass crystal pond. Tons of shade and benches placed throughout the course. Some steep inclines followed by descents. The distances to the baskets are shorter than other courses we have played. Very clean and quiet while we were there. All baskets are clearly marked. Dogs on leashes are welcome. $5 per person to play, just drop cash in the box at the first basket. Recommend to anyone who enjoys disc golf.

This is one of my favorite courses in CT. It's great for beginners, relatively easy but still offers some challenges and fun. The course is a picturesque walk through the forest but the fairways are not too wooded like some other courses. Not too hilly either. The T pads are well marked and the baskets easy to spot. Hole 12 has a blind basket but they put in a bell to signal when the players ahead of you are through which is a nice feature. Only 5 bucks to play which is great. Definitely a course I would recommend.

Nice little place for a few hours of hiking and a picnic. If you're into disc golfing, it seems like a decent place but was not explored much by me.

I really love this course, especially since it is only 10 minutes from my house. It is a fairly new course, and has been well maintained, so signage and tee boxes are easy to spot and easy to follow. The one exception is the ninth hole, which doesn't have a tee box and the tee area is on a gravel road leading to the pond area. Even so, it's one of my favorite holes; fairly short and downhill, but surprisingly challenging. The front half of the course plays quickly, with short holes and moderately open fairways. The back half lengthens out a little, and the elevation comes into play a little more. That being said, I can play all 18 holes by myself in just over an hour, without feeling rushed. The scenery is quite pretty, with Crystal Pond separating the front and back halves of the course. There is also a Boy Scout day camp that shares the woods with the course. I would imagine that if you played on a day that the camp was occupied, it would be much less serene, though I have not yet experienced that myself. The fee to play is $5 per person per day, and this little course definitely won't disappoint. Update 2023: Crystal Pond continues to be one of the 'hidden gems' of CT disc golf.
