Disc Golf at Brandywine Creek State Park

Great disc golf course with a variety of shots. Lots of fun with friends or playing solo. Would recommend. I drove an hour to get here and it was worth the drive. Lots of fun and slightly frustrating at times

Fun course with beautiful views. Not enough tight lines and variety of shot shapes for 5 stars but the elevation changes keep it interesting (and it’s fun to throw bombs downhill).

Classic Delaware disc golf course with some nice views of the Brandywine Valley. Short and long pins, lots of elevation changes. Minimal shade. Rough is only cut a few times each season so errant shots can be difficult to track.

This course has two baskets for each hole (A and B) for differing degrees of difficulty. There are no wooded holes although some are right near the woods or partially in them. There's one hole that goes over the water but easy to retrieve your disc if needed. All of the holes play long and most either go up or down the varies hills. It's wide open and easy to find your discs, plus the scenary is beautiful. It's a nice place to bring the kids along as well.

Pretty solid course with 18 holes that are all fairly “out in the open”, by that I mean there’s no fully wooded holes but there are a few partially wooded holes. The trade off is that even though there’s not a ton of woods to get your disc lost in there’s quite a few holes with tall grass on the perimeters that’s easy loose a disc or two in if your not a straight shooter. There aren’t any ponds but there’s a hole that you have to throw over a small creek ( pretty easy to keep it out of the creek though and there’s a bridge over it). Also there’s a nature center there and I’ve had two of my discs found and brought to the nature center where they will contact you (if you have your # on the disc) so people seem honest and helpful when it comes to finding and returning discs. One more good thing is that the 9th is right back where ya started by the parking lot so if you don’t want to continue with the full 18 you can do half a round and not have to walk awhile back to ya car. Overall the course is fun and in good condition and parts of the year it is free, or you can park somewhere else and walk/run/bike in if you don’t want to pay, or you can pay the $4-$8 (depending on in state vs out of state).
