Played here just yesterday. Amazing time, challenging course, had bouts of rain without lightning so we continued to play and the course drained really well. Greens held up amazing, readable, fast and soft. Really enjoyed our experience. Staff was friendly, drink cart made its way around us 3 times so I am not sure what those reviews are about. I will absolutely come here again.

On 12/2 made a 1pm tee time for 12/3 and was told (errantly) that it was $30 to walk, Boca Resident or not. I showed up at 1230 and was told it was $120. I immediately canceled the time, as a 4x price difference (erroneous or not) is absolutely outrageous. I called the pro shop and spoke with the head pro, Ken. I explained the situation and asked if he'd honor the $30 at 1pm as a one-time thing, after which I'd GLADLY pay the full rate, any time. He offered me the "actual" rate of $55 at 1pm, and while I wasn't thrilled, I accepted his offer. Ten minutes later, Ken called back and clarified on the rates, then withdrew his original $55 offer as I live in Delray, and gave me the non-Boca rate which apparently $80 to walk. I asked why there were so many issues with getting the correct price, and he replied that he "assumed" I was a Boca resident. He then proceeded to hang up on me. Whereas a single round at $55 would have smoothed over what was otherwise an inconvenience, his arrogance has cost the course/county any and all business in the future from myself, my friends, or my clients.

Absolutely the worst cart guys I have ever had. Zero labeled cart return and yelled at my team when we tried to return the cart. Pathetic. Will not return.

Decent public course, tough, narrow fairways, especially on the front 9 and some unforgiving water placement on several holes, but manageable with a low enough handicap. Price is also fair for what they charge for Boca residents. I'll be excited when the clubhouse construction is complete.
