Beautiful! The trail was great, just make sure to pick some bug spray! Mosquitos are vicious here. Once my husband and I got off the deck like part of the trail closer to the water, that’s when they really got bad. Cute little picnic area out front of the trails. Also loved the little library box that was set up too!

This is a great hiking and recreational area. Has a disk course, a cabinet with books to read (take one, donate one, selection is mostly kids’ reads) at the parking lot, and an observation tower. The tower at DJ Wilcox Preserve up the road is closed off to public use. Bring bug spray and something to drink.

The mosquitoes were really bad. We got swarmed with them I have hundreds of bites on me. 😭 I bet you this place is super cute and can't wait to give it a go again when it's dry. Don't come the day after it rained. I did see two bobcats. And there were a bunch of animal tracks on the trails.
