Springfield Disc Golf Course

Really enjoyed the holes I was able to play! I was there during Porchfest which meant the starting and ending holes were unplayable but the rest were great. I always appreciate when an unusually shaped piece of land is used for disc golf. I’m sure the entire course would have been even better!

Along this walk, we walked along the Springfield Disc Golf Course – a sprawling public disc golf course in the heart of Jacksonville. Enroute, we also came across an ingenious children’s activity by the Jacksonville Public Library known as Story Walk. Story Walk is actually a story that is lined along a walking path (hence the name), that allows kids to go out and interact with nature with usually an activity involved. Hence, learning while exercising. An excellent idea! During this walk, we also came across Bethel Church – a very beautiful complex, the no. 2 Fire House as well as the Main Street Food Park. I really love Springfield. It can't be my first course but it's my home course 100%. Watch out for the rogue hobos they look almost identical to the nice hobos. "Update: Still dope. Less hobos"

Nice place to play Frisbee Golf in St John’s only negative I had was the lady door greater at the church was not very friendly, when I walked in to wash my hands after I finished my round. But I will not let that sour my review. Go check it out!

Layout of the course is pretty sweet! A few holes are hard to find because there isn't good signage between the holes (9-10, 17-18), but that was also on me for not checking the layout prior to playing. Overall conditions were good when I played, nice views of the city from the first few holes. Good mix of long and short shots as well, makes you use a variety of disc/shots
