Great disc golf course! I enjoy playing a 9 hole round during lunch on the Army/Air Force Temporary course (due to construction). On a weekend, I enjoy tackling the professional Marine/Navy course that is home to the 2017 PDGA World Championship. The Marine/Navy is not a beginner friendly course. I recommend the Army/Air Force first as it is more achievable. Landscaping is a challenge at Fort Gordon and sometimes the course is a little rough due to needing a good mow. Otherwise, a fantastic course. See the pictures of the 9 hole temp course attached.

The course is wonderful layout, but due to construction, my husband and I could only play 1/2 of the course. Many signs were missing, and with it being our first time on this course, it added extra time looking for the next hole. Grass was overgrown, but maybe when construction is finished we will give it another try. We love the three courses in Appling at the National Disc golf course, and we thought since the 2017 Worlds were played here, we were expecting more.

Four great 9-hole courses (plays as two full 18-holes) that offer a challenge for all skill levels. Army/Air Force is a good beginner to intermediate level course. Marine/Navy, which just opened a few months ago and will play host to the PDGA World Championships in a few weeks, is a pro-level course that makes me cry each time I play it. It needs just a little more finishing to be ready, but it's already a fun addition to the bevy of courses we have in the area. Thanks go out to Swami for all the work he does on these courses.

The Army Air Force is great beginner course with a few holes that are the Novice / Rec level. A lot of attention to detail. The Marine / Navy course is a pro level course that is long and plenty of elevation. Please take plenty of water with you!

I'd like to start off by saying this was my first time playing there and it's started off with an absolutely gorgeous course on baskets 1 thru like 4 of the Army course but then they had construction going on the rest of the course so we had to play a couple of temporary baskets that were still ok and then finish on the Air Force course so it ended up only being 9 holes, but I can't wait to go back and play the finished product as well as the professional course over there! So that's the only reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars.
