Patriots Park

The new soccer fields were amazing and the trails they've been constructing are worth the look. I can't wait to bring my dog out to go exploring on them. The restrooms are super nice and they have a water bottle filling station which is most convenient for the moms like me who can't remember to bring bottled water but, always has empty water bottles in the car.

I was told this was a wonderful place to exercise. I have found out that even though the trails and things are nice. The amount of dogs that are off the leash is sad. Many think that's just because their dogs are friendly and good to them it's okay. They need to understand that they have no clue how it would react to a stranger. It's the law that dogs are supposed to be on leashes but a lot of them don't care. I have nothing against dogs but I don't feel comfortable or safe knowing that so many have their dogs off the leash. I mentioned it to their office out there and was told that they cannot say anything to them. Why when the rules clearly says it? I think I have to find some place else to go for the remaining time here at Ft. Eisenhower.

Great trails for walking or disk golf. I love going off the beaten path. Make sure you wear the proper shoes 😆 I took a dunk in the stream for these pictures lol

Great baseball park and recreation area. Does have four open soccer/football fields. Patriots Park could have a few more soccer fields. The facilities located here also include an inside gym, basketball courts, and outside tennis courts. Parking during ball seasons can get very low.

Easter Egg Scramble 2022. Great for the kids. Get in line early because they only allow so many in the field at a time. The princesses were in character! So cool. Food & face painting, no pets & a golden egg prize.
