Etowah Park

This was truly a nice looking park, Etowah Park is really large, it has all kinds of activities.there where youth baseball game’s going on today on Sunday August 28th! There are bathroom facilities, vending machine, possibly a working concession stand when games are going I didn’t notice one today open. There are several baseball fields, tennis courts, skateboarding & rollerskating area which was really fun. playgrounds for smaller children and a little bit bigger children are in a playground up top,plenty of parking and trail walking. I love kids baseball! It’s fun to see the unexpected reactions of the kids on the field when they’re learning new things. It is so exciting to see someone get a home run and be happy about it ,this is the true spirit of baseball. The batter running wildly to getting to the base before they get out, or stealing a base in the nick of time. The tension, the excitement the crowds going wild…. Who could not love kid’s baseball! Who hop👏💛

Awesome park! The small playground by the skatepark is very nice and the skatepark is awesome. Has just about everything. A nice update on the flow section around the park would make the park one of the best in west Georgia. I also wish the lights at the skatepark worked. You can still sort of see from the tennis court lights but not as good toward the farther side of the park

I love to walk from my home down to the park to the walking track. While walking I watch the kids playing ball, people playing tennis and pickle ball, skaters at the skate park. There’s also playgrounds for the kids, a clean restroom, nice picnic area and very dog friendly. This park is very well maintained and I consider it to be a safe place for all of us to enjoy.
