Gwinnett county has several beautiful parks, but my favorite is Lenora Park which is about a 7min. drive from my home. Lenora Park has plenty of beautiful green space to spread out blankets for relaxing or reading, paved walking trails, a fishing lake, community garden, softball fields, disc golf course, separate dog parks for large and small dogs, pavilion, grill, playground, restrooms and a 2 court gymnasium for basketball and pickleball. There’s also a seasonal pool. I go here often just to enjoy nature and being outdoors weather permitting. I especially enjoy walking in Lenora Park during the Fall season as it’s beautiful to see the many trees changing colors. Lenora park is also my go to location for early voting. Lenora Park is about to undergo some major improvements with revitalizing and expanding the gym into a community recreation center that will have a dance studio, art classroom, kitchen and will include an upper-level balcony with a two-way walking track. I’m excited and looking forward to seeing the progress while on my walks in the park.

I and my bf use manual wheelchairs and the paved path was very helpful. We went to fish and the little areas with benches that were closer to the water had I believe two steps to get down. There was enough room in the grass for me to roll up beside the steps so I was able to at least get closer to the water. It's much more level so it's easier to fish from there. We were visited by a family of ducks a couple times. We caught a blue gill or two and a couple snapping turtles. The restrooms were very accessible as well. Will be returning!

Very peaceful, love the trails, and it's great for children. So far, I have noticed this park doesn't get really crowded, so it's great for birthday parties and pinics. The lake adds a little more to it's peaceful vibrations. Definitely would recommend.

Lenora park pool A GREAT summer time treat for all ages. The 15 min adult time/safety time is AMAZING. I was able to get on the slides and enjoy the waters with no children. They hated it but the adults LOVED IT LOL. That water is clean to the eye. The whole area was clean. No drama and yelling all fun. You can bring food, we even had pizza 🍕 delivered lol. Be mindful of your trash and eat in the eating area with small kids. They have swimmers available for small children $2 per. Bring towels and chairs🪑 if you don’t want to hit on the ground. Only seating is in the eating/picnic area. WORTH THE DRIVE AND SMALL COST

This a very serene park. There is a trail for walking, biking, jogging. I've also used this part to social my dogs. They have an amazing dog park area. There are pavilions for social activities and baseball diamonds and a football field and kids play ground. In the summer they have an amazing swimming pool with a large slide. A mini water park.
