I absolutely loved this trail, the trail we ended up going on was foote trail. If you drive down the lower part you will find some very interesting information at the information gazebo. We even met the founder of the project trail. You could tell how thought out it was. We had a few spots to enter to the river. Might be useful to wear pants as the trail is narrow in some spots. I wore shorts and felt fine. Lots of birds, lizards and grasshoppers all along the way. 🙂

Beautiful trail, take the steep hill it's worth it. Passed the second gate take a right and wrap around.
