Nice shady area, but we could not find the playground. It wasn't until we abandoned looking for it that we found the ACTUAL entrance to Forrest Park. The playground was marked as GAZEBO.

As a fellow disc golfer, I’ve found that Forrest Park Disc Golf Course in Bloomington, IL, offers a unique experience, though it may not be the top choice for everyone. The course layout presents some challenges, and it seems that many players appreciate the natural beauty of the surroundings, even if the course itself could use some improvements.
I’ve noticed that players often mention the need for better maintenance, which could enhance the overall experience. Despite this, there’s a sense of community among local players who enjoy coming together to play and support each other, making it a welcoming spot for newcomers and seasoned players alike.
While the course may not boast the highest ratings, it’s clear that there’s potential for fun rounds and camaraderie. It’s a great reminder that every course has its charm, and sometimes the journey is more about the people we meet along the way than the perfect layout.
