I really enjoyed this course. It has a decent amount of open and wooded fairways with moderate elevation and a variety of distances. The variety of fairways really allows you to practice different shots.  I visited this course on a chilly, windy weekday morning in November. The tall grass of the fairways was already dying and thinning for the season. I imagine in the middle of summer, searching for a disc in the tall grass can get difficult. The fairways were otherwise well kept, mowed and clean despite not seeing a lot of garbage cans throughout the course. It had rained heavily the day before and I did not notice any severe wet spots. Wind did play a factor on the open holes and no so much on the wooded holes despite it being a windy day. Other than a few walking paths and a road that led to a pavilion in the back of the park, there wasn’t much else, that I could see, going on in this park that would interfere with the disc golf course. A course sign was available at the beginning of the park near a lost and found disc drop box. Tee signage was decent although I am not a fan of the two foot tall signs at the tee pads. For starters, as a first time visitor, it can make it hard to see there the next tee might be from a distance and when the snow falls, the signs could be buried in the snow making them even hard to find and possible trip hazards. I do like that they were placed in the front of the tee pad and do not interfere with your throw since they are short but I’d prefer taller and behind the tee pad over these. Tee signs did show the hole #, distance, pars, next tee direction and the overhead view of the fairway with trees/land markers and line to basket making it easy to identify where you were shooting towards. There was also metal arrows in the bottom of the baskets directing you towards the next tee pad. The layout was decent with two potential 9 hole layouts separated by the road for those that want to get a quick one in. One 9 hole layout being more wooded than the other. You start and end at the parking lot regardless of playing the full 18 or either of the 9 hole layouts. Tee pads are artificial turf and in decent shape. The baskets are in good shape as well. The course is cart friendly. I could easily see myself driving here on a regular basis if I lived 30 minutes or less away. As such I am nearly 90 minutes away and plan to return when in the area to play some of the other courses in the area. This could be a great beginner course in the fall and spring months but possibly less forgiving in the summer months. I cannot say for sure till I visit in the summer. I recommend checking this course out if you are ever in the area. One round was 80 mins for two of us. 4.5 stars if that was possible. Gave it 5 cause it doesn't deserve 4 or less.

A nice park with a decent layout of baskets. Most holes are shorter par 3's with trees, not terribly difficult but could frustrate newer players. Nicely labeled with signs, astroturf tees and baskets that direct you to the next tee which was nice.

What an amazing course!!! Well maintained well marked. Hell! Even the baskets had arrows in the bottom pointing to the next pad. I'm from Texas and would fly back here just to play this course. This picture is from hole 18.
