Fun course. I’d recommend visiting if you are in the area. I’d easily drive 20-23 minutes on a regular basis to play this course. Even though I live nearly 90 minutes away, I plan to visit again when I am in the area playing a few of the other great courses with in 20 minutes of here. I would not drive that far only to play this course unless I play 3-4 rounds. This course is oddly placed in an unsuspecting park behind a McDonalds and Walgreens. You could easily pass it if you aren’t paying attention. It is also relatively new at the time of this review. It is a full 18 but also conveniently split to have two nine hole layouts. The front 9 holes are in the open field area and some trees, hazards and moderate elevation while the back nine is mostly wooded technical holes. A great combination of fairways for anyone who wants to work on a variety of different shots. Tees are concrete and baskets are in good shape. The fairways are a mix of one tee pad to one pin, alternate tees (short/long) to one basket, and one tee to alternate pin locations. I won’t get into the details of which were which here. See Udisc or check out photos. Point being, there is a variety of combinations to play this course keeping it interesting and challenging. There is a walking path down the first fairway the connects a neighborhood from one side of the course to the other. I imagine it gets used a lot in the summer but shouldn’t be an issue when throwing on hole one as it is very easy to see if people are coming or going. Holes one and three (right sides) also have water/swamp hazards on them as well. The wooded holes are moderately to severely technical and was the complaint of my card mate that day. I, however, am not bothered by large numbers of trees in the fairway and welcome the challenge The course was clean considering I do not recall seeing many garbage cans. A practice basket is available but also looked like it was an extra basket from another hole being repurposed. There were no nearby bathrooms unless you consider the McDonalds close enough. The course is also cart friendly. Despite the heavy rains the day before, I did not notice any low wet spots other than the before mentions water hazards. I imagine the tall grass on the front 9 can get thick in the summer months making it harder to find a disc too. There is a cool Veterans’ Memorial between holes 15 and 16 that is much worth the stop and appreciation for those who have fought for this country. I wish this course was closer to my house. I’d definitely enjoy it as a home course. It took two of us 80 minutes to play a round. Could have been less time if it wasn't for three guys in front of us on the back nine never offering to let us pass. I imagine this course gets busy in the summer and weekends especially with a neighborhood within close proximity.
