Beautiful, relatively new park between Avon and Plainfield. It has a very nice playground, a couple of ponds, and very manageable walking trails. There is a very good sized disc golf course here as well that intertwines with the walking trails. It is never as crowded as the surrounding parks in the area- it is our new favorite place to take out young grandson.

Nice place to go to for a short hike. Just a bit out in the country, & has a great big mounded hill about 60-80 feet high. It gives you a great 360° view of the area & can see for miles. Plus it's an amazing sunset view with benches to sit or pack a picnic basket with your sweetheart or the kids!

Had my wedding reception at the Bluegill Pavillion at Gibbs Park yesterday. I couldn't have found a prettier place. Nice big shelter house, electric outlets on both ends, nice new picnic tables, and gorgeous view of the water. All my guests enjoyed the park. Price was super reasonable. Would rent their shelter houses again. Might do it for my birthday next year.

Nice park! Love the disc golf course. Course is 18 holes and offers long and short tee boxes. I found the course to be very beginner friendly. Possible to lose discs in tall grass in summer months, but no issues finding discs when I played in October or April.

Great park for the family! Gibbs has all kinds of activities for everyone: huge disk golf course, trails for hiking or nature watching, a pond to relax by on a dock or fish in (permit license required), and even a hill for sledding in the winter! Please be aware, there are no bathrooms at this park but there are port-a-potties located at each shelter! Park is also ADA-accessible including dedicated spots with paved walkways to shelters. The pond even has an wheelchair accessible dock. There are two shelters that can be reserved: Bluegill - 24'x44' - $75 per day Firefly - 20'x36' - $50 per day A quick note to parents headed to the playground: There is not enough parking at the playground itself, the firefly shelter would be the next best spot with a short walk over.
