Champions Landing

From the food, coffee, golf, fine dining events and more, Champs really does have something for the whole family. Both the food from Champs Bar and Grill and their dining events are absolutely phenomenal. They offer so much that you can’t get anywhere else in town and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. If you’ve never been, or haven’t been in years I strongly encourage you to check it out.

Such an amazing disc golf course, so much fun to play and a great place for the disc golf events, or just to have a great dinner and drinks with family and friends, the views of the lake and surrounding fauna are breathtaking, if you play disc golf, or just want a prime dining experience, Champions Landing needs to be added to your bucket list of places to visit when you are in emporia or even driving through kansas.

Honestly if I could give this place 0 stars I would. I have been there twice and both experiences were just as bad both times. the first time, the staff took forever to get our drink order and would just stay in the bar area talking to coworkers while we were waiting to have our food order taken. The food was bland and did not even taste good. We decided to give this place another try and it was almost the same experience a second time. The open seating allowed us to sit in an area where the waitress wasn't even clocked in yet and we sat there for a while before anyone came and asked us if we would like any drinks. We didn't get our menus until about 20 minutes in. The food was delayed well over 30 plus minutes and it was way off from what we had ordered. The food was cold and lackluster at best. Then we also had someone who seemed like the owner come to our table and say sorry about the delay with no empathy and throw free coffee cup cards at us like that was going to make up for the food and wait time. Although this place is new, I will not be recommending this place to anyone I know.

Came to watch disc golf tournament, 1st time visitor, was very cool to see so many players I have watched on YouTube. Extra special to watch several groups play holes 9 and 16 as those are more difficult than most. Large property but not hard to figure out how to get around to a certain area.

Coffee shop is very open with large windows and plenty of spacious seating to meet with friends. Always friendly service with delicious coffee
