I left a review but it somehow disappeared from the reviews. I will write it again and again if it disappears again. This time I will write it a different way. Before, I loved walking through the woods and enjoyed running into the wild deer 🦌 and other animals that roamed through the woods. Since they have updated the new look and tore away some of brush that the animals felt safe around instead of an open concept, the wild life has decreased and the last review I did for this place, someone responded by saying that the wildlife was still in tact and that they only did the renovations because the Honey-Suckles had consumed the entire park and they had to do it to save the rare trees 🌲 and habitat. I understand that the Park was a little bushy and needed a clipping but you didn’t have to destroy the integrity of the land to do so. The Squirrels are finally coming back in numbers but it’s not going to bring back the birds 🦅 or ground animals. They added a Play-ground for children 👶 and even made it out of wood material to match the concept. But it would have been better if they put the dog park here instead of another place for children. The dogs 🐕 would have had more space to run freely over here anyways and safer away from the park. Someone’s thought process is a little short to be making decisions. Plus instead of a Play-ground, A bigger Parking lot would have been better. Who ever came up with these decisions don’t need to keep working in this field. They need to quit trying to impress people and do what is necessary, Not what they think they will look like in the Sunday paper. I will say I am slowly taking time to come back and watch it grow. It might grow on me. But I do miss the the peaceful, meditation, and all the animals this place once had. Some people don’t care about relaxing and only caring about who they can impress.

Went out with the wife today and played the front 9 of the disc golf course. Nice and shady.. Basket placements are pretty close to the where the markets say they are... Nice views of lake too. If you have never played this course before...I do recommend finding the baskets...they like to move behind the trees.. if your a lefty, like I am, the course does not play into our natural arc at all.... but that's pretty normal. Will be going back to play back 9 on Thursday. It does not look like they are sharing Tee off pads anymore...but will know for sure and will try to update post 😁

Nice area for a run! It features a heavily shaded path that is 3/4 a mile long if you stick to the outside path. The path is made of gravel and is decently kept up. There is a small play area for kids and disc hockey for those that are interested.

Pretty challenging course, 9 tee boxes 18 baskets. I like that it's a totally different experience if you play it in the winter vs. summer. If it is too difficult in the summer try it again in the winter. (when most of the vegetation dies) That makes it a little easier. Regardless the season, be prepared to get some practice on curving your discs to the right.

Being a California Native and playing most courses in So Cal this KY course kicked my butt! New course with lots of trees and tough angles. Had a blast and missed a hole in one by inches. I highly recommend anyone in the Richmond, KY area stop in and play a round, It will take you at least 2 to 4 hours for all 18. Lots of hills!
