Love the walk. 8880 steps round trip for me. Got to walk off restaurant reviewing. Lots of people out walking. Never felt unsafe. Beautiful trees and flowers to enjoy. Halfway for me is a few minutes enjoying lake ponchatrain. Have bathroom facilities by farmers market. Building a second facility near the yacht club.

Wonderful market on Saturdays! Live music, food, crafts, & art. Bathrooms are clean & well stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc. There is a splash pad to cool off as well. There's a hill in front of the stage to sit and listen. Lovely way to spend the morning.
