My family & I have only been here during Christmas for a work party but each time was good. My kids always enjoy it. See pics ..

Lafreniere Park is very well maintained & very beautiful I always find something new and amazing every time I go there. There are pavilions, a merry-go-round, a dog park, flowers, fields, restrooms, playgrounds, a bird sanctuary... and more...very nice !

There is always something to do. I've fed the ducks, gone walking with friends, played pokemon go, dog walking and much more. I always meet lovely people at the park and I especially love christmas time seeing the lights. I haven't had a picnic yet here but that will be coming when it's not too cold

I absolutely love this place! The different species of birds are out of this world. I even saw a couple of black swans. The scenery is something like out of a painting. Very well kept up part. I even like it better than New Orleans City Park.
