Explore numerous well-marked and maintained trails, including the shaded Switchback Trail perfect for hot days. Enjoy the scenic Patapsco River and a stunning waterfall. Restrooms are available throughout the park, and during summer, you can even find wild raspberries. Available disc golf, plenty of flat fields for sports ball games.

Lots to do here. Mountain biking, hiking, jogging, horseback riding, disc golfing, etc. The trails around the perimeter are lovely and easy although I will admit the switchback is definitely moreso for riders and bikers than it is for hikers and joggers. The Tall poplar trail is definitely better suited for the walking and running crowd though.

Naturally reserved trails with scenic views throughput the park. You have access from surrounding roads and park entrances (with parking spaces). A popular place especially weekends.

Been coming here since a kid. I love sitting in the falls, and i went down the waterslide at the other ends of the waterfall today it was nuts. There is a no swimming sign, I would say just don’t wade too deep into the pond area, there is definitely something ominous about it. I did see a harmless northern water snake in there today. But DEFINITELY ignore the no swimming sign when it comes to the falls area! There are areas that are deep enough to swim in, slide on, walk and sit on, and it’s incredible.

This park is amazing. I am helping build a new adaptive biking/walking trail. I can’t wait for you all to come check it out!
