This is one of the best disc golf courses in the area. The holes are challenging, but also fairly open and good for beginners. The holes are clearly marked and there are two tees and two baskets for every hole, so you could play 4 slightly different courses without them changing a thing. There is very little overgrowth, so we had no trouble finding discs that got away from us, although there are a few challenging spots and it is never impossible to lose one. I do miss the water hazard and hills in the old layout, but what they've improved makes up for what they lost.

Looking forward to playing this course again, a lot of 300 plus yards holes. A lot of fun to play.

Plenty of parking, unless there's an event

We went to Rockburn on the recommendation of a friend. The day we chose was cold and rainy and the park nearly empty. Each hole has options for different skill levels, though only one platform is finished for each tee. Because of the cold and wet, we stuck with default red baskets from the long tee. There is a lot of ground to cover in many holes and some of us who cannot huck it far were frustrated. Other than that the layout is great, the scenery pastoral, the lawn mowed, the port-a-potties clean. Heads up a more than a three-mile walk. Give it a try!

In my top 5 disc golf courses in Maryland. This course has undergone some changes in the last 2-3 years. New tee signs, dropped some treacherous holes and added some new ones. Pretty well maintained in the fairways, and natural OB that gets hairy if you go too deep. 2 baskets per hole (short and long), each with their own difficulty.
