Clean, well kept. Great play for baseball

Very nice park. Old school swings.

I just love this place. Went here as a kid and played during baseball games at the playground. It's still the same with an old-school merry-go-round and nice, high swings. Great hills to run up and down (or roll down) and beautiful old trees to climb that shade some of the playground. Now it's connected to a newer park (Leister Park), which is just fantastic with a disc golf course, a fun new playground, and a nice, meandering paved trail that goes through the peaceful woods. Both parks have nice-sized pavilions to picnic.

My family and I like to come here from time to time for the playground. We live close enough to walk, and have been coming for years. There’s a natural underground spring that can make the Spring/Fall months a little muddy, but my kids know not to blindly run through it after rainfall, just in case it’s muddy. There are swings, and a few slides, but there is also some older equipment that needs removal (or at least an upgrade). There’s a nice picnic area with gazebos and grills, a batting cage, and bathrooms are available when a game is going on the baseball diamond. Property is well maintained, and the area is quiet and away from main roads and traffic. You can also walk dogs on the path when a game is not taking place.

Walked my dog on paved path around the ball fields. Very well kept.
