Driving through Brockton today, I passed DW Field Park. I entered the park and it was a beautiful paved drive through some varied pine and leaf trees. Beautiful winding Road with a large on their parking spaces along the road. There are several side trails. I only had a short time and took a short walk and it was very enjoyable.

D.W. Field Park is an excellent stop for walking, hiking, biking, fishing, picnicking, and enjoying time with family, along with learning about local history. The park is open to pedestrians from dawn to dusk, and open to vehicles from 10:00 a.m. to dusk on Monday through Friday, and 12:00 p.m. to dusk on Saturday, Sunday, and holidays. Traffic is one-way, with half of the road reserved for pedestrians and bikes. One of the ponds is Brockton Reservoir, which has supplied drinking water to the town since the 1880s; do not swim in this or any other pond at the park. Plenty of parking is available.

First bike ride in DW. I was with the wife. It was good. A lot of people. Everyone was friendly. Just watch out for the potholes (only a few but they can definitely do some damage to your tire).

This park is a big pond with a paved road along the perimeter of the pond or ponds. I haven't figured that out yet. The park is in 2towns./city Brockton and Avon. The Brockton areas seems more relaxed and people friendly. More areas to fish, picnic, enjoy the scenery, etc...
