I've been visiting this park my whole life. It's a beautiful place! It has a huge field and tables for picnics and games. Lots of options for hiking trails of varying intensity and you can explore the grounds of the mansion. It has beautiful views and if you're quiet, you can often see wildlife on the trails. I've seen deer on multiple occasions.

Had my little one I take care of w me never been . We both loved exploring there. Had to stop a very nice couple to ask were the parking lot was we kinda went further than expected can easily do. So many different trails... we can't wait to go back

Borderland is basically my go to at this point. It has SO much to offer those looking to take in beautiful nature. You can take a leisurely walk, or give yourself a bit of a challenge as there are dozens of trails here with many varied types of terrain. There are several ponds and streams many great spots that are advantageous to viewing all of the wildlife around. There's the beautiful mansion and its grounds, Smith Farm, Pud's Pond and so much more. Several movies have had major scenes filmed here including, Shutter Island and most recently Knives Out. It's a great place and I couldn't be happier that it's in my back yard. Oh yeah! It's been awhile since I've thrown a disc around, but it's also one of the best courses in the area to play, and judging by how many people I see playing EVERY time I'm there, that is still the case.

Best disc golf course in the area, helpful park rangers too. Great MTB trails and hiking trails as well. Many of the tees have been updated to nice pavers, it just keeps getting better! And it is still very well maintained. The rangers use an app called diskdefender. It will send you a text when somebody returns your disk to Lost and found. Works great. What a place! Beautiful day on the course today. Great park
