Went for a function here. The food was catered and good. There were steps to get up to the function room and the bar. There was a handicap ramp in the back to use. There were bathrooms downstairs that were locked and bathrooms upstairs to use that were open next to bar. The place was not very pretty. The staff was nice and the building on the outside was gorgeous. Plenty of parking as well.

What an incredibly beautiful course it is, maybe particularly because of the season of foliage. Unlike its scenery, however, the course isn’t really enjoyable because the entire course is very hilly and you have so many blind spots between teeing grounds and greens, and also many holes are actually out of sight at all from tees. Walk is not recommended at all, and you have to drive your cart forth and back to check if players ahead of you are away or not. 17th par 3 hole of 200yard is substantially uphill so that you can’t see players on green. The bar in the clubhouse was more friendly atmosphere than any others I’ve been near Boston. Sitting at the outside terrace, looking over the 18th hole is great for a pint of beer. Btw, if you use Garmin golf equipments, please note that the map on the garmin is out dated and GPS doesn’t work.

Excellent public course. Lots of blind shots - so best to play with someone who can guide you on your first time. Your rangefinder won’t do you much good here as well since the greens are elevated and hidden / blind on many holes…a GPS watch would be better. Greens were very nice…and challenging…very few flat greens. Also very scenic and hilly - but still very walkable unlike some newer courses. This is an old school course with a vintage but fun clubhouse…and a true hidden gem. I was impressed and will return.

Great course great greens fast and true!! Shorter course, but lots of obstacles and hills and doglegs to keep you on your toes!! A true gem!!So worth a trip!! I’m heading back next week, and it’s 1.5 hours drive!!

Played here over Labor Day weekend for the first time. It was quite a challenging course- quite hilly and a bunch of hazards on the back 9. The course was overall very well maintained- would probably have enjoyed it more if I had played better. 😅
