My boyfriend and I played the first 9 and really enjoyed it for our first time coming! DEFINITELY wear long pants and sleeves or bring a jacket if you come there’s a lot of thorn bushes in the areas a disk may land. I’d say wear some good shoes, you are in the woods and during the fall season the leaves all over the hills make the path slippery. Lots of dogs so bring your pup if you have one :)

Not sure if it's actually allowed or not, but whenever I visit my family in Western Mass, we bring our dog there for the off-leash experience. Doesn't matter the time of year, there are always like minded dog owners there doing the same thing. Plus, there is a spot where the dogs who live the water are able to safely access the small creek which forms one of the park's borders. If your dog is well mannered and properly socialized, don't hesitate to bring them here!

Fun, tough, well designed up and down course. Clearly takes a lot of work to maintain. Be ready to look for discs in woody, navigable ravines. (Although, loses steam after several holes - baskets missing in offseason perhaps?)

Absolutely brutal and unforgiving course. The holes are already tricky and it’s barely maintained so you will lose discs on the fairway. It’s a free course so you can’t be too critical but I’d happily pay if someone would run through with a weedwhacker once in a while.

Happiness is seeing dogs run free together. Great areas for swimming too! In order for Smith Voc to keep this open to the public, dog owners please pick up after your pets.
